The all-new nighttime extravaganza “Mickey’s Mix Magic” is lighting up Disneyland park during Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration! DJ Mickey is electrifying the night with the hottest family dance event in Disneyland history and inviting everyone to the party, remixing some of your favorite Disney tracks. Adding to all that “ear candy,” there are dazzling moving lights, lasers and other effects – even fireworks on select nights – along with state-of-the-art projections designed to immerse you into the fun.
In creating “Mickey’s Mix Magic,” Disney Parks Live Entertainment collaborated with the team behind the Mickey Mouse animated shorts to bring the perpetually youthful, playfully mischievous personality of Mickey to the show. Mickey, Minnie and other favorite Disney characters are creatively showcased throughout, amidst kaleidoscopic patterns that move with the beat of the music.
Each viewing area of the park, from Main Street, U.S.A. to “it’s a small world,” provides a unique show with a custom projection design. Here’s a look at some of the work that went into getting “Mickey’s Mix Magic” ready for its big debut.
